Great app!
My son has an autism spectrum disorder and really struggles with times-tables. But he is great at memorising facts if he repeats them enough. So many of the maths apps try to force abstract reasoning on the learning of times-tables or jump around different sets in the interests of stretching the child. This app allows focus on one set at a time. The numbers are big. And my child enjoys the kinaesthesia of swiping up the cards. I think its going to be a great way for him to (finally) learn his times-tables. One improvement would be to force the multiplicand and multiplier to always appear in a certain order. My son (for now) sees 2*3 and 3*2 as different facts.
simple but effective
This App teaches the basics of Maths facts, number bonds, Division and multiplication , you can choose the level ,amount of questions and answers to pick from and also have practice sessions with flash cards .
It is straight forward and if you have a child who likes learning through repeated exercises ( though the questions are different each time) with out distraction in the form of games etc, this app is excellent.
As an adult I am using it myself to learn the basics for entry level maths and even though it is for younger people any age can 'polish up ' skills if for example they are helping children with maths homework and need a bit of a 'facts refresher'
Well worth the small cost for the app.
Thank you to the Developer for the app.
