Since using Birdie in my care roll my job has been so much easier and Birdie is really good to get all info documented. It can sometimes run slow when data is running low however some clients do let us use there Wi-Fi so it works brill when connected. The sections on Birdie are amazing to get all info in however I personally think we need a new section for ‘positional changes’. This would really help with some of are clients when pressure sores can occur. We document in the general notes however a section would be better and easier to find, it would also help so staff can see what side the last staff used as family’s sometimes change/remove the equipment for positional changes. Other than this being added, Birdie is amazing and would recommend to any care provider who is looking for quick, easy and efficient documentation. It is brilliant for people who struggle with hand writing and spelling as this checks it all for you and can be easy to read.

During the lockdown, we are able to share the care record with client’s family as this gives them the assurance about the Care and support given to their love ones.

Overall good but can add other features
The birdie app is very good but they can features like time alarm (timer) to let carer know that their time is up with their current client. It is very add to be taking care of people and also watching the time you have left. Also, they should be a feature that also carer to make amends to their report after maybe 24 hours. Sometime I make mistake and when I want to fix it, I just can’t and it is very annoying knowing, I did the right job but when my agency sees the report, they might think I did a bad job or maybe I am not capable of not handling multiple clients.
