I’ve used bitpanda binance and kraken. Mainly use binance but honestly for the last few years bitpanda hasn’t caused me any issues. It’s a really good and straightforward app. Very good for a beginner and now with this new update it’s 10x better, if your starting off or just want a second platform then bitpanda is definitely the one.

Update with Incorrect Portfolio Value!

I’ve been using the app for about 6 weeks now and find it good but it could be great. On the GOOD side, it allows me to deposit (using debit card only), buy and sell etc. On the COULD BE GREAT side, it’s weird that when I deposit money, it shows my portfolio’s value as increasing (yeah, duh!), when what I want is to see how much my portfolio value is going up or down based on increase / decrease in the value of my investments. I’d also really love to see a feature, in each of my investments, that shows a dot on the date and the price that I invested. This would be very useful.I’m just a ‘Sunday trader’, but it was incredibly bad that, during the recent peak in Shina Inu, this app went OUT OF SERVICE for about an hour. No access whatsoever. Couldn’t even see my portfolio — just a message that said, Sorry something’s gone wrong.Following the update today (7th Nov 2021), the app shows my portfolio as a higher value than it actually is! Yippee! A 25% bonus! This has happened three times after login today and then it resets to an accurate value after I refresh. But the question is, does BitPanda actually know how much my portfolio is worth?Formerly, Bitpanda gave me data on what I’d invested, and the average investment price, but with the new update, this information is missing.

I have had an account with bitPanda since the beginning of the summer, I have a fully verified account, tried to add another current account to the account. I paid in 500gbp which they didn’t add to my account, when I requested a refund they said they had refunded it but not to the IBAN number I provided them. So they still owe me 500gbp, this incident occurred four monthsUPDATE - So they asked me to provide the reference number of my complaints, which I did, that was just after posting this review. I provided them and they still didn’t refund my money. Avoid these pirates at all costs.

I’ve been using BitPanda for a few years now and rate it highly. Occasionally the portfolio summary is delayed due to updates, but it’s very infrequent, and always states why. Regular improvements are made to the app too. Overall I’d recommend.
