Update…18/08Still great but after using it have discovered a few missing things….1 - No alphabetical select in a long list, most apps have a-z down the right of the screen, tap a letter and go straight where you need to. Not here. 2 - No swipe left to delete, anywhere, hugely disappointing as it makes deleting things far more convoluted. It’s not like it’s been omitted to prevent accidental deletion either, everything goes to the bin where it can be restored if you’ve accidentally done it. 3 - In addition to the above there is also no multiple select options, which makes deleting things even more laborious. If I’ve sent 5 items to the bin - already a long process having to manually go into each entry - I then have to go into each entry again and press even more buttons to further delete them. It’s still good but some standard practices for iOS are sadly missing which means most things take far longer to achieve than would be necessary if some basic stuff was implemented. Original review. 2 August 2021Been trying to stop using Keychain and have something that also integrates on my Windows laptop with Firefox browser, so I’ve been using 1Password on a 6 month trial and it works. However, so many good interweb reviews mentioned Bitwarden I had to give it a go, nothing to lose as it’s essentially free for the basics. Exported data from 1p, imported to BW and voila! All works really well. I can’t seem to get it to add an icon for the logins on iOS, but imported via Windows and most came across from there, maybe it’s me but that doesn’t seem to work….. Lacking a few features that 1p and others offer but on the whole it’s perfectly functional, encrypted and secure. I don’t need the features of the Premium version but it’s only $10 (£7.60) a year so bought it anyway to support the devs. Give it a go, it works well. 👍🏻

Bitwarden is a secure and easy to use password manager that cannot be beaten by any other in my opinion. It makes creating new login’s a very smooth process and allows you to improve your online security with a strong password generator. It syncs well across devices and is completely free unless you want to pay for extra security features, which are not necessary for most people. My only complaint is that creating new folders requires you go go into the setting’s and can not be done when creating a new login. Each login also has to be added to a folder manually and can’t be done in bulk. Other than this the app and service is perfect.
