BKOOL Toolkit 4+

I went on the BKool Website where they mention that the latest firmware version is the 3.25.
I connect the device to the toolkit and it shows the version 3.16 and says that it’s the latest and no update needed. I have the BKool Smart Pro, it’s not responsive, always has high resistance and I’ve spent money and time trying to sort it out. The customer service is too slow and they always prompt me to read the website. I do as the instructions say, even asked friends for tips in case I’m missing something, but still no result. I’m stuck with a trainer that doesn’t work and this app doesn’t help at all. Really really disappointing!

Lots of problems with the connection. the worst are software updates which made the trainer unusable as a 2% climb is like 8% and above 5% is a wall. Do not update. Never. Watts are not reliable. It’s been years nothing has been fixed despite all the negative reviews on internet. They could just provide a link with all previous software versions so that you select the one that works because they decided to make your home traîner obsolète. Even velodrome training isn’t enjoyable.

Bought a Smart Go, only for the company to shut hardware operations without warning, lock down their product to their software system, freeze out Zwift & now they aren’t responding to any of my support requests.

Don’t make the same mistake as me. Avoid like the plague.
