Great app - though has it become less accurate?

I have used BlitzortungLive and Blitzortung-based services for many years now. It’s great to watch storms coming and going. It seemed to be much more accurate in the past, but more recently some lightning strikes don’t seem to be detected and show on the map, and there are also issues where the rendering of the strikes on the app is hit and miss depending on how zoomed in or out the map is. I really hope these issues are resolved as it is one of my favourites.

Needs attention

I’ve had this app for some time and it’s a fantastic way of seeing where the storms are. However, I’ve recently had thunderstorms nearby with notifications coming through but the live strikes do not show up on the map? I’m not sure if this is due to the volume of traffic on the app but it used to work correctly in the past. Hopefully the developers can have a look.
Additionally, it would be useful to hide the push notification geo-fence to make the map clearer, potentially have it just in the settings?

Missing strikes.

I would have given 5 stars if lightning strikes in my home area in Norfolk England registered. Perhaps there are not many reporting stations in my area?
Otherwise I have found the app to be very accurate when I have been travelling in Europe. It has more information than other apps that I have used.
Thank you for the way it is presented.
