Good but flawed
Like having all my blogs in the one place (I'm new to following blogs so wanted a place to keep them together rather than having bookmarks in a browser. This is fine however certain less well known blogs don't appear properly, I follow my friends thread on a blog website called Bolter and Chainsword and the pictures don't come up properly, I can view it fine in my browser when I search myself however when I click through to the blog from the app it comes up as an error on the blog page saying I need to sign in, though if I go find the thread normally in a browser and copy the link from there it still does the same thing. Annoying I can't follow my mate with this app.
Good idea but often annoying to use. Difficult to search out new blogs, a lot of clicking and opening new windows to use and often freezes or doesn’t open properly. Search function is poor. Notification alerts are really annoying; Bloglovin repeatedly ‘follows’ me. Why? And alert appears as ‘new’ again and again after I’ve cleared it. I do use it to follow a very few people but I no longer try to find anything new that I might find interesting as it’s too irritating so overall the app is using space on my phone without really fulfilling its function.
Used to be good, now it rarely works and whenever I click on a post it just freezes on a blankpage with a blurred line of title text at the top. It also really annoys me that once you’ve read a post (or not, due to what I just said), it removes the post from your feed. So if you want to find it again and didn’t get a chance to save it, you have to either know which blog it was from and trawl through searching for it, or if you can’t remember then you’ll likely never find it again. I’m going to have to go back to bookmarking all the blogs I follow in a web browser, or find a different app, because this one is beyond awful now.
