Great for AKT revision
User friendly interface and the app is reliable- no glitches or freezing! Detailed explanations of answers and links to resources.
Can also use without internet connection once questions have been chosen, which was bonus for me to study whilst travelling.
Good but needs way to feed back inaccuracies
Enjoying doing daily 10 questions from the MRCGP AKT. Only criticism I would make is some of the questions are incorrect/inaccurate. For example, the cows milk protein allergy one. It asks about intolerance, yet the answers refer to allergy. Only a small point but it would be good to be able to feed this back (I think it’s a typo). On thw whole, a nice range of questions. Will be recommending for my Registrars to at least have a look at for AKT prep.
Limited Questions for FRCS Orth
There are very few questions to begin with available on this app. Once you have gone through them all it also becomes clear that many of them are recycled from other specialties. There seems a disproportionately large number of questions on research methodology and haematology often with no attempt within the theme to make them appear Orthopaedic in nature. The links within the explanations are few and far between and often to not work. When compared to Orthobullets (Majority of which is free) this is a very poor website indeed and not worth the investment. I would strongly advice other FRCS Orth candidates to not bother.
