Ratings and Reviews
Doesn’t work at all anymore, seems to be abandoned Avoid.
I purchased the pro version, it did seem to work for a while, but now it never updates a particular boat I am tracking. Yet it includes the link to the Marine Traffic site for this particular baot. And that link is up to date correct.
I am guessing they need to update the scraped field names from their AIS sources so they match.
But as there hasn't been an update for a year now, I can only assume development has been abandoned.
Used to use it but it is now useless! Still seems to work(just about) on my i-pad so it would appear that they are only interested in IOS version. DO NOT buy the Pro version as you will be wasting your money.
For anyone remotely interested in ships and shipping - and world geography - Boat Watch is excellent. I love looking at ships all over the world, especially naval vessels. I’m currently following my neighbours on their cruise in the Med! Full marks to Boat Watch.
