Description
The bridgewebs app allows users to access details of their bridgewebs web sites directly on their smartphones and particularly focuses on the latest information. It can be personalised so that you can enter which clubs you play at and then you can quickly see the information for all the clubs selected. There is no need to switch to pages for each club.
Furthermore, the network connectivity has been optimised to save recently viewed information on the smartphone and minimise the amount of data downloaded over the network. It will even work fully offline, ideal to while away those hours while travelling!!

The Results View shows details similar to the club web site including Personalised Score Cards, Boards and Hands where available. Due to the size of screen some information is omitted.
You can keep up to date with any information on your club's web site. The items will show on the App in the sequence updated with the latest first. So if a special message is added anywhere on the web site it will show up first.

This version fixes problems that have arisen in IOS 10.0. In particular ability to select/deselect club codes

Disappointed
Oh dear. Not really what it implies on the tin. Don’t waste your money. I downloaded it with hope and expectation. Within minutes I realised it was not worth anything. Far easier to simply keep links to your clubs in a group icon and go from there. Poorly designed and doesn’t provide much information. Laborious to use. This is why they don’t offer a trial period. No one would buy it after even a two minute trial.

App is offered at one-off modest price and Apple do not have Trial option. Trial is only available for Subscription basis.
We realised that keeping 3 different software versions of Bridgewebs: IOS, Android and Web up to date has proved too onerous, and all current Emphasis is on Web version. The App remains as many users, from our analyse of usage log, like/use the quick view to see the latest results on iPhone.
Basic but effective
Call me shallow. While the bridgewebs service is so polished, this App looks unduly basic. It does what I need for my guided post-mortems but feels clunky.
You get the results table.
You can inch through to see individual scorecards (unlike the server, no hyperlink to jump straight there).
You can show the hands, one at a time, again by laboriously inching rather than scrolling across a screenful.
And that's it.
Naturally it only works for bridgewebs clubs.

I contacted the developer about a couple of problems I had with the layout and he fixed both within hours - excelllent service.

The developer, Bridgewebs, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.
