Terrible Experience
I stumbled upon this application via an Instagram ad, promising a 3-day trial period. Excited, I downloaded it, only to be met with sheer disappointment. Within a short span of using it, a staggering £79 was unexpectedly charged to my bank account. I hastily cancelled my subscription — barely half an hour post-download — and sought a refund. To my dismay, my request was flatly denied. Now, I’m stuck with a costly app that serves me no purpose. I urge caution with this app; it’s a disheartening experience you might want to avoid.

Most likely you signed up for a trial period. The condition for activating the free trial period is to activate a paid subscription. The terms of the subscription clearly state that the first 7 days are free, but after the trial period you will be charged. You can cancel your app subscription before the end of the trial period, but no later than 24 hours before the end of the trial period. If you cancel your subscription before the end of your free trial period, you will not be charged.
If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of the free trial period, your funds will be automatically debited.
To request a refund, you need to contact Apple Customer Support. You can contact Apple support by following the link https://getsupport.apple.com/

This app is useful for increasing your level of vocabulary in English, however sometime the translation isn't always correct which can be a bit pesky. The fact that this isn't free either is rather annoying as it is a good app in general.
