Was a little dubious about using this app for the first time. Booked a taxi for 6am to be able to catch a train. Arrived a couple of minutes early and got a text message to let me know firstly that the taxi was on its way, and then another to say it was outside. Can't rate this enough. Superb!! Look forward to using it again. Thank you.
Have become unreliable.
I used to use radio cabs all the time but this app has completely ruined their reputation for me, they are no longer reliable. I booked a taxi with plenty of time before my train, with an estimate of 7 minutes given for how long it would take to get to me, considering the number of taxis in the area. The first few times I used the app the bookings have been accepted within two minutes, but the last couple of times it’s been over ten. I have ended up cancelling them both and finding an alternative route. And both times, have missed my train. If they don’t have the taxis available, they shouldn’t allow bookings to be placed. Very disappointed.
After using this app almost every day for the last year, the new update is a great improvement. It’s basically Uber but without the ridiculously inflated prices. And if anything goes wrong they have an amazing call centre that acts swiftly and professionally to resolve the issue.
