We’re delighted to unveil a new look for our app’s homescreen.
Our new, cleaner design is a lot easier on the eye. But most importantly, it’s a lot easier to use.
The new design makes navigating through the app simpler and more intuitive. Information, such as your upcoming flights, appears clearer and less cluttered.
You’ll also notice some warmer, more conversational elements across the homescreen. From check-in to boarding, we want the app to feel like a personal assistant. This update is a small step towards creating a more personalised experience.
The app still has the same features and functionality. We’ve just changed the way the app looks and feels, as well as making a few behind-the-scenes bug fixes.
Ratings and ReviewsSee All
No more frantic inbox searches before leaving for the airport. No more desperate bag-rustling at the departure gate. This app puts every piece of our essential information (outside reminding us to pack a toothbrush) in one beautifully clean place. Pro tip: adding the widget to your Notification Centre serves up details on your flight number, departure time and flight status.
BA app interface is really good but technical team should really need to work on simple validations and bugs, and if they won’t do sooner then more frustrated customers would start giving reviews like this.
- app is so moody that some time it would accepts your booking no to add and some times not.
- if i have a booking all ready associated on web through to executive membership no then why the hell it won’t reflect on app? Why i should add my journey again? It really shows lack capabilities.
-well if it accepts your booking to add in this app, from no where some times it disappears and at home pages it says no journeys.
-checkin options are so clumsy that it goes to a html page and it takes hell loads of time to load that too on 4G or 200mbps speed wifi, so there is some serious issues in application performance.
-well if you are adding your journey first time it won’t directly take executive number of your account, you need to add it through manage my bookings and again some times it does.
So many more issues i could list out here, similarly BA website is having loads of issues... better not to list out here.
Meanwhile if some one is asking for then star rating for this app then i would rate it as 2 star only because interface looks on first page but later all the flows are clumsy
BA please get your act together
On every update I am hopeful the app will improve and I’ll be able to make the simplest things such as check in. When the app doesn’t throw error messages, additional “security” requirements mean you can only check in with your passport at hand, not on the go. FFS I fly BA at least once a month and am tired to give you information you already have. I am also tired to re-authenticate even though I have a phone with FaceID that allows me to make bank transactions without having to re-type document numbers.
Dear BA, as someone who lives in London, I am stuck with you. Please hire a competent software development team and build an app that will solve your customer’s problems, not create new ones - only for you to sell the solution.
Regarding the error messages, whatever you have going on with Expedia bookings not being able to check in on the phone, please fix it. It’s annoying.
