I really enjoyed it, but it hasn’t evolved much

I love the Broken Sword series and this one was on par with the previous game I played, but considering that was over a decade ago, I found this release rather clunky.

Looked great but the puzzles were few and far between and navigating the inventory and environment was pretty dull. I used the hint quite a lot knowing that the solution lay in me simply spending time trying inventory items in various random combinations.

I felt for the money you got a decent chunk of game too.

Best point and click adventure I’ve ever played

Just completed the first episode of Broken Sword 5, have also completed BrokenSword2. I’ve played many point and click adventure games but this by far the best. The graphics are amazing, the cultural references are spot on seeming to understand the difference between both American and British English perfectly and is the perfect balance between the two cultures. The French stuff is beautiful - accents and scenery feels spot on. Just paid for and about to start episode 2. I have no complaints whatsoever?

Broken Sword 2 was really good, and just awaiting the iOS13 compatibility update for Broken Sword 1 so I can play that too. What happened to Broken Sword 3 & 4? Are they available on iPhone for me to buy and play too?

Developer Response ,

We're so thrilled you enjoyed the game, and thank you so much for your kind words!
We released an update for Broken Sword 1 recently that should have hopefully solved the compatibility issue - if it hasn't for any reason please don't hesitate to contact us at support@revolution.co.uk and we'll do everything we can to help.
In regards to Broken Sword 3 & 4, they aren't currently available for mobile devices, but it's something we're keen to look into for the future - so stay tuned!

Point and click at it’s finest

I have played all of the broken sword games numerous times. They have great story lines and fantastic characters that are believable. Puzzles vary from easy to hard but they require logic to solve and make sense. Unlike other point and clicks the puzzles are solvable when you think about what you are trying to achieve.

I’m looking forward to another broken sword to follow on with this or even bringing out the missing ones onto iOS would be great. Developers please take this into consideration. We need more Broken sword as nothing compares to this. Best games on the App Store by far.

Please make another.

We're currently working on something new at the moment, but we're really hoping to revisit Broken Sword soon and we would love to look into bringing the rest of the Broken Sword series to mobile devices eventually.
