Flaky
I love the concept & it’s great when it works. However, within a couple of months of fitting it stopped working. Re-programmed it a number of times before getting it to constantly work again. Following a further stoppage I contacted Brunt but, by the time they responded, it was working again. Now, for the last few weeks, the programmed open & close schedules work half the time & the app has no effect, so have to use the manual buttons. I’ve checked & rechecked the Wi-Fi but it’s constantly good & works fine with all my other Alexa devices throughout the house. Further update after 6 months: It continues to be flaky but now a new issue appeared. The motor timing has changed so that the blind gradually changes it’s open/closed position. So had to be totally reset.
Serious iOS 13 bug on newer iPhones
Wasn’t able to setup the blinds on iOS 13 using my iPhone XR - the app insisted I wasn’t connected to wifi even the icon appears (yes, I was definitely on the right network)
Luckily my wife has an older phone and I was able to use that.
Also, the schedule times do not adjust for daylight savings time which is annoying
Wonderful for a disabled person
I have this blind front engine because I cannot manage getting to the window it works 99% of the time I am over the moon and it’s made my life much much easier letting light into the room and dark at night I would highly recommend this product you can see it’s robust strong and likely to last a very long time
