The EE TV app allows you to watch live channels and shows on demand, plus now you can buy all the latest Hollywood blockbuster movies and your favourite TV shows.
Watch live channels, including the latest Premier League or UEFA Champions League action on TNT Sports, if it is included in your EE TV package.
Missed a programme or match? With the EE TV App, you can catch up on the latest shows from a range of channels, including Discovery.
And it’s never been easier to own the biggest TV shows, or to buy or rent the latest movie releases. Our new Store in the EE TV app allows you to purchase the very latest titles with just a tap of your screen.
How does the app work?
- All EE TV customers can use the EE TV app for no extra cost and watch programmes in line with their TV subscription
- Continue watching from where you left off on your EE TV box.
- Watch channels and programmes on up to two devices at the same time.
- Download content to watch anywhere anytime.
- AirPlay and Chromecast what you’re watching on the app to a big screen.
- Set programmes to record on your YouView box.
To watch content you'll need to be a EE TV customer with a valid EE ID or BT ID that's been associated to your account. You can register the app on up to four devices.
If you’re not an EE TV customer but have a YouView box*, you can still use the app for remote recording, and to view your list of recorded and scheduled programmes.
* Not compatible with 1st generation set top boxes (e.g. Humax T1000 / T1010, or Huawei DN370T) or Sony TVs, which are no longer capable of remote recording.

Tv app not fit for every need?
I am disappointed i need 5/6 other apps to watch live tv that i have subscribed too. Its real pain flicking between to apps to stream tv? On other major tv providers - this isnt the case. I would like this to be chand and i will updating the disgrunted view on this.
The only thing is recording when box is on ans managering recordings - however i can record stuff i dont have packages which blows my mind
Total Tosh
BT app rebranded with new clothes but same old rubbish implementation. A number of goes at the password reset (again) with countless goes round the houses with embedded web pages to authorise, number of red error messages. Why oh why don’t you allow password managers to put in the details as per all modern apps. I fully expect now to be logged out my other devices.
I still have the issue of a phantom account registered at my address alongside the real one. Three LONG calls to the increasingly rubbish bt support teams have yet to fix that issue…
Added to that the broken mishmash of services that form the BT home entertainment experience BT ip tv, Now Tv, EE tv and discovery + . It’s simply not fit for purpose ……
Useless when wanting to watch TV
BT have forced BT broadband/TV customers to use this app which is useless when wanting to view tv on mobile devices such as iPhone iPad etc…. For all the channels available it says one can record the program only and advising the viewer to watch one’s chosen program on the tv - which defeats the object of having the app in the first place ?…!!!
For one reason a family member might be watching something different on the main TV so having the app should enable to watch an alternative program. I repeat, BT have cheated their customers in having to use this useless app ! Whereas the old BT app used to work ! What’s going on BT ?
