BT WiFi App Review
I am a BT user. But not the mobile WiFi. I was looking at the WiFi App and noticed a review by a user who appears not to be too enthusiastic about the App. There appears to have been no response from BT to this review. I would appreciate a response to the issues that have been raised before I make a decision on whether to download the app. After all reviews are designed to flag up issues good or bad with a view to identifying problems. But there is no point in a writing a review or downloading an App if the developers are not going to respond to a perceived issue with the App.
Utterly unprofessional and liars!!
On Feb 5th 2019 I contacted BT by phone. The Operator agreed to change my package by dropping my Broadband package from £54 to £29, cancel my £10 unlimited call package, and cancel my BT Sport charge when the Sport contract ended at the end of April. I have spoken to Operators every month since then, the last one promised to contact me yesterday without fail to check if the bill was corrected. No call!! And bill still the same. To add insult to injury they have billed me again for the full package including BT Sport (£74) which was turned off to me on the 29th April. They have stolen about £100 from my account so far. I give up. The website all ways says it cannot contact the site to allow you to complain so they can claim no one complains when they tell Ofcom they have no problems with customers. Ofcom are in bed with these companies because they do not want individuals complaint to them.

Wi-fi Fon and the app the worst thing I have ever had the misfortune of signing up to
BT Wi-fi Fon do yourselves a favour and never use or get involved with it. Signed up for 12 months and it is the most infuriating inept product I have unfortunately ever had the misfortune to use. I signed up for unlimited 12 months a decision I regret hugely as someone that relies on a decent internet for work. It forever cuts out meaning you have to go through the tedious useless process of signing back in again each time, doesn’t work regularly and is incredibly slow when it does. Incredibly frustrating to use. I got the app as it said will ‘automatically sign my phone in’. It NEVER works. I can honestly say using BT both app and Wi-fi Fon are the most stressful and frustrating things in my life. Avoid at all costs.
