Just bought one of these lights, and tried it with the app today. With another one on its way!
Is there a way that you don’t have to pair the same light each time you go on the app?
The app basically starts with a screen where you have to initialise pairing everytime from scratch, whether you’ve paired it previously or not. Is this right, or am I doing something wrong?
I love the idea that you can control them via Bluetooth, but if it can’t recognise previously installed lights, then it’s not a lot of use really. And very risky for gigs. May have to return them.

Using with 2 4bar lt bt units. I bought them specifically because of the Bluetooth controllability but it’s not functioning as it should. It seems pretty unstable. Keeps dropping out and I have to shut app down and reopen to reconnect. Only the solid colour and sound to light work. It’s very limited & basic. None of the rainbow/fade/programmes work.
It would also be nice if it were possible to have access to the onboard programmes on the lights. Chauvet need to work on the stability and features of the app! - (for the 4bar lt bt atleast).

BTAir does not give you access to the onboard menu of paired fixtures. Hope this helps clarify!
Totally unreliable
Sometimes it works, sometimes it’s completely useless. iOS updates seem to affect it badly too and it hasn’t been updated for 11 months. Pretty poor show
