Website and application that do not function properly, have no login capability to check data, no chat feature to report issues, and login to the application is impossible is negative. It doesn’t show any bills, any documents, there are no records of payments, you can’t log a meter reading unless they are ready for it/need it. It will show you the credit/debit balance based on the last time they sent you a bill, but not and DD payments that are sitting ready to cover the next pending bill. Utterly abysmal and useless. Oh here! Why not use the web page? It’s nearly just as bad. The bills are hidden so you can’t track your spending, there’s no graphs, no way of comparing usage. Roll on Smart Meters and Budget will be out of the market. Their technology will never be able to keep up.

This app is terrible. In terms of easiness to use, it is very simple and straightforward, that’s if it actually ever works. Between not allowing you to top up, putting in extra characters in your information fields that the app doesn’t recognise or not recognising your password which has been the same since you opened the account. The app is so hit and miss that one day you can top up the next day you can’t. Honestly makes me want to leave Budget Energy, the hassle with the app isn’t worth the slightly cheaper electric.

I love being able to top up my electric through an app but this app is rubbish. It brings you to the web page anyway. It’s slow, not user friendly, asks you to prove your not a robot and most of the time the app fails to launch successfully, resulting in you having to open up your browser to go through the web page for a top up. You’d think a big energy company would invest in a better user friendly app.
