This app is terrible. In terms of easiness to use, it is very simple and straightforward, that’s if it actually ever works. Between not allowing you to top up, putting in extra characters in your information fields that the app doesn’t recognise or not recognising your password which has been the same since you opened the account. The app is so hit and miss that one day you can top up the next day you can’t. Honestly makes me want to leave Budget Energy, the hassle with the app isn’t worth the slightly cheaper electric.

I love being able to top up my electric through an app but this app is rubbish. It brings you to the web page anyway. It’s slow, not user friendly, asks you to prove your not a robot and most of the time the app fails to launch successfully, resulting in you having to open up your browser to go through the web page for a top up. You’d think a big energy company would invest in a better user friendly app.
