Brilliant way to shop ethically
I was recommended this app by Baby Milk Action who campaign against formula advertising and those companies that flagrantly advertise and break all the global WHO guidelines.
Having initially used it as a Nestle boycott; I'm now happily barcode scanning all items in my cupboards, in the supermarkets etc. It's fantastic. I shop with a clear conscience and I love it. Totally recommend without a doubt
Excellent concept but would change some things
I really like this app and it’s various features. And because of that I have decided to leave a review. There are things I would change or add. There are a few glitches; pictures that are in the wrong place in the product list section and campaigns with no join button or text in the “conflicting campaigns” section of a product. Finally It’s really missing a “my products” section. This would be helpful to tailor things to where you live or what you are used to shopping and I can see myself not really checking the app as frequently without it.
Really like the app but won't creat a account
The app is great however I don't want to create a account with them due to security concerns (I'm sure it's fine but considering large companies have account data released I'm concerned to sign up to a much more obscure service). I don't have a Facebook account and frankly all this app needs to be perfected would be the ability to sign in with google. As much as google themselves might harvest my data they won't sell it on and are extremely unlikely to get hacked. Please please please add the ability to sign in with google.
