No problems so far…
…which is already enough to back its claim to be streets ahead.
Having to go back and start your calculations all over again, because there was no *record*, was always the nightmare since calculators began, and ought to have been addressed long before this. Unless something goes seriously wrong, I’ll certainly never again use the iPhone Calculator app.
UPDATE: Been using this for a year or more and it’s been a loyal servant. Things have even improved: being able *selectively* to erase individual calculations was a big step forward, and now History Tapes promise further productivity. 5 Stars, no hesitation!
Only the best
Don't hesitate, this is easily the best of the many versions of a calculator in the App Store. Genius idea to include brackets in the basic layout - avoids lots of common mistakes in anything beyond the simplest sum. Includes the usual scientific and printout layouts, beautifully executed, with subtle sound if you want it. Lots of options in the customise menu, including the ability to change the classic divide symbol, which can easily be confused with plus (+), to a slash. Love it.
Great App
I’ve been using this app frequently for about two years now and it’s massively improved since then with its updates. I can highly recommend it. I wouldn’t be without it now.
