Oh no, disaster
This used to be a great app, especially with the scrolling tally to the side. Now the tally, when it works, is above the keyboard and is no where as useful. The whole look and feel of it is just bland and just like all the others. It also doesn’t work on my iPhone. I have deleted this and will look for new calculator, I have also asked for a refund.
An update: I have reinstalled this as the basic version on my iPad. The tally (tape) still doesn’t work on my iPhone, which is a shame. However, one very important ‘feature’ of this app is that NO DATA is collected about you and therefore not shared with any other app of third party company. This is very important if you value privacy.
Another update. Even after version 4.1.1 the tape still does not work on my iPhone 6s Plus.
Fantastic calculator with lots of options
This is a great calculator which gives you lots of options. You can write, have print out which allows you them to email your answers. The only disappointment is with the writing pad it is only available on the right hand side which is a little inconvenient for someone who is left handed. I would have marked this review as 4.5 but you don’t have the option as not being able to choose where the pad goes is not detrimental to use of the calculator.
Was brilliant now with update TERRIBLE
iPad doesn’t come with a calculator by default so I had to search the App Store, I found a free one that met all of my requirements but recently the adverts have become more and more intrusive so I decided to upgrade to the ad free version, but this would have cost £2.99, then found this one for 99p! This app is far and away superior, 4 calculators in one very easy to use and I also like the decorative graphics, which can be turned off. I particularly like the notepad, useful for, well, making notes.
Well that’s what I thought of the original version but this latest update has completely ruined it, it’s now a garish plain white, very unattractive and where has the note pad gone, when you update something you should make it better, not worse, at least you should give us the option to revert to the earlier version. However this is an awful mess and I have now deleted it, don’t waste your money on this garbage.
