Description
When asked how one might find a way into Christianity, the Benedictine monk Brother David Steindl-Rast advised, “Meditate the sacred year.” In the same vein, when asked what a lifetime’s study of Anthroposophy had given him, the English philosopher Owen Barfield replied, “I now have some idea of the reality of the living year.” For readers who like to chew meditatively on poetry, Weekly Meditations will put them firmly on the path to realizing both of these great realities.
Rudolf Steiner’s weekly verses allow attentive readers to follow the course of the year in body, soul, and spirit. In addition, from the perspective of one who has sought to live inwardly with the sacred, living year, Patsy Scala’s poetic reflections, which arose from her deep practice of the verses, provide an accessible and complementary guide to one’s daily practice.

Lovely idea and worth developing
The calendar of the soul is still thought-provoking and inspiring and it is nice to have a version as an app. The app is both beautiful and calm as it should be. ... but it would be nice to be able to export text to explore alternative translations, to have some more background information and to have a linkage to dates.
It has serious issues
Its much user friendly than the old Calendar of Soul app but every time I press on: “Current week” it goes black. Also it always shows week 52, I was expecting it would automatically adjust to the actual week running: it doesn’t. Nor it tells me how can I know what week number should I follow to match the current week.
North and South
Please can you adjust the display of the verses so that those of us in the Southern Hemisphere can read the relevant soul verse. Thank you.
