Call of Antia: Match 3 RPG 12+

Stunning!

At first I just thought this was just another match 3rpg mimicking many others, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest.
The graphics and artwork are stunning, the gameplay is beautiful and there is always something to do as the game has many dynamics and mechanics.

Yes, there are in game purchases. I didn’t purchase any for a short while just to see if I can get on with the game and as I do, I have many a few igp to support the developer.

Shame the developers have lost interest

I really really want to give this game 5 stars. I have played every day for nearly 18 months and have loved this game, but sadly, since the start of the year the game has fallen into a depressing pattern that is focussed on simply trying to get players to spend more and more.
A new 5 star hero is released every two weeks and the co-occurring events are nigh on impossible without said hero. The seasonal events are always the same and the new heroes get more and more powerful, making old heroes obsolete. All the new mechanisms that have been introduced are only of value to people who are willing to spend a lot of money. There hasn’t been any genuinely new playable content since last year. I know the new alliance war feature is coming, but it’s been promised for a long time and hasn’t materialised.
Please please continue to develop this game and add more proper levels to play. I have already cut back my spending on this game and if the game continues like this for much longer I don’t think I will be playing at all.

Good to start, then becomes pay to progress as usual

Usual fair I’m afraid. I appreciate money needs to be made to develop the game etc etc, but there are cheaper options out there for gameplay.

Other observations I can make that other educated users haven’t made unrelated to money required to get some gameplay within a reasonable time frame.
The in game animations are slow. Really no fun when you have to wait continuously for the boss to drop the hurt on you. Move, wait, wait, wait. Move, wait wait, wait. Death by a thousand cuts.
And who is really interested in character back story? You just need to know what they do.
Also, I’m sure that things change in the mechanics with no explanation. I had a weapon that created reds at the start of the game. Suddenly that stopped happening, no idea why. I didn’t change anything.
I played the previous game you guys created and eventually just gave up because it became pointless. You addressed some of those issues well, but just created something no different to what is already out there. And this game has become pointless faster than the old one.
Overall, It takes too long to progress unless you pay. Then it’s a struggle because the whales who pay loads progress too fast so to slow them down, you have to have to slow everyone else down. Same problem, different game.
