Calm offers an auto-renewing monthly subscription at $12.99/month and an auto-renewing yearly subscription at $69.99/year to provide you with unlimited access to the Calm Collection while you maintain an active subscription. Calm also offers a Lifetime subscription for $399.99 which is paid for by a one-off upfront payment with unlimited access to the Calm Collection forever.

Payment will be charged to the credit card connected to your iTunes Account when you confirm the initial subscription purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be identified. Having lived with depression on and off for decades, I am finally and hopefully making the daily changes needed for a calmer and more content life. One of these changes has been using the Calm app 2 or 3 times a day. After only 2 weeks, I am feeling a difference in my way of viewing and getting a wider perspective on the world around me. I am reacting, or not, to external events, in more considered and calm way. I am able to recognize when I am starting to feel over-whelmed and use some of the strategies learned through using this app, to bring me back into the NOW rather than my imagination taking over with the negative ‘what if….’ thoughts and images. Being a complete novice to meditation and mindfulness, I am finding that Jeff Warren’s ‘Mindfulness for Beginners’ sessions, to be invaluable. The real lightbulb moment for me was in session 12 - Sanity Day! Now whenever my mind is running away with itself, or I feel a panic attack coming on, I use the ‘see’, ‘hear’ method to send these negativities away and bring myself back to the present using deep breaths and a simple phrase, ‘Now…. I am home.’ Thank you Jeff and the team for being part of the light at the end of this tunnel xx

Calm review

This app has been life changing to the point where I now have the technique to acknowledge and appreciate thoughts processes that are leading to panic moments before the actual attacks and after the novelty period at the beginning where I felt dependent on the daily calm’s with Tamara which I then wasn’t following her advice and going through the motions became a bit counterproductive and pointless! That said I still have to listen to them from time to time just for the inspiration words at the end of the session! For me, the most changing thing is the ways you teach yourself to rest with the afternoon meditation naps and most of all, the methods I’ve learned from assistance for falling asleep easily after suffering insomnia for 2 decades, this is truly life changing experience and have only had 2 full nights without any sleep in the 3 years I’ve had this app which without doubt, the game changer of my 42 years on God’s earth!
I live in Yorkshire in England where were notorious for being very tight with our money but this has had such an impact on my mental wellbeing I’d pay 10 times the amount of a years subscription!
