The calculator is based on the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, a formula that has been shown to be an accurate way of estimating calorie needs in numerous studies.
An average woman needs to eat about 2000 calories per day to maintain, and 1500 calories to lose one pound of weight per week. An average man needs 2500 calories to maintain, and 2000 to lose one pound of weight per week.
However, this depends on numerous factors. These include age, height, current weight, activity levels, metabolic health and several others.

Didn’t quite understand
Didn’t quite understand the purpose of this app. Guess it’s to indicate how much your calorie intake should be? It would be very useful to have an integrated system where you can know which foods to choose to match the desired calorie take.
Pretty good if I’m being honest
It doesn’t do much other than tell u how much u should be eating. I honestly don’t understand all the negative reviews, the app just tells you how much you should be eating in order to lose or gain weight, its that simple, don’t leave a negative review if u didn’t read the app description properly👁👄👁✨
Doesn’t function
App stops after first page add hight / weight and then there is zilch! Rubbish app.
