CameraFTP Viewer 4+

Date/time selector not working. Zoom limited until image firs screen... not good if you have a high resolution camera and want to see more detail on a particular frame.

Note you must have a camera uploading footage to CameraFTP via FTP/SMTP. Most users use IP cameras/DVRs. But you can also use CameraFTP Mobile Security Camera app as an IP camera, or use CameraFTP VSS Software as a CCTV DVR System.

If you have a camera uploading to CameraFTP cloud, then you can use this app to view it; or you can use any web browser. Just log in to www.cameraftp.com website, you can view your cameras. You can also use our viewer app for Android and Windows.

You can use any FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) software to download the recorded image or video files.

The app is free, but I have subscribed to have camera video uploaded and saved when motion is detected by the camera.
Recordings are kept for 7 days, and I can view any captured video recorded over the last 7 days.
You can subscribe to upload snapshots or video when movement is detected - but don’t make the mistake I initially made of subscribing to upload snapshots but setting up the camera to upload video! Do this and you can download the video from the CameraFTP’s web site but this app will not work!

For regular surveillance, it is recommended to order a video recording plan (if your IP camera/DVR can upload video clips). Please visit www.cameraftp.com and click the Cameras tab for a list of camera brands that we tested and created Setup Guide documents. (Reolink, AmCrest, Foscam, D-Link, Wansview, Axis, etc.)

If your IP camera/DVR cannot upload video clips, you can order an Image Recording plan. The recorded images can be played like video at lower frame rate.

Buggy software that can't seek a timeframe properly when playing back. Tries to download images from the selected timeframe and most of the time fails.

Sorry for our late reply... but the bug had been fixed many many years ago. If you encounter any problem, please contact CameraFTP support. A problem is usually fixed in a few days.

Please also note CameraFTP is a leading cloud recording / Home & Business Monitoring service provider. This app is one of the viewer apps only. It is free and it is not required. You can use any web browser to view your cameras; you can also use our viewer app for Android and Windows. You can download your footage using any FTP client program such as FileZilla and view the video locally.
