Incredibly useful, with bugs

There are bugs, sometimes it doesn’t load and the map immediately auto-zooms back to location when you try to scroll further along (Nov ‘21). However, overall, this is a great app to help on the Camiño. Super useful in the dark when you can’t be sure of the street or see the arrows. Links to albergues and current info on the home screen. Useful distance information, next village information, etc. Some complementareo routes seem to be chosen as the main routes.

Thank you for the review. You are right about the app not loading if there were no internet connection on some phones. That bug has been fixed now. The map zooming to your location is a feature, not a bug. It works well for keeping you on the trail, and that is the intention with the feature and the purpose of the map. It works well for walking when you are on the camino. On some caminos, some of the alternative routes are shown as the recommended route. Usually, to take you away from dangerous roads or etc. This is not a mistake either. You are welcome to explore for yourself why I recommended what I did. But there is always a good reason when I recommend something else than the official route :-)

Fantastic

I used this app every day on my winter journey on the Camino Frances, to check accommodation (which was scarce and needed confirmation therefore the phone numbers etc included very welcome) and the route (which although mostly well signposted sometimes needed checking to see whether I was on/off course) Absolutely fantastic and way better than any of the others I came across.

We used on 2 our trips and this app was always on, never disappointed.
