Description
If you are thinking of buying a car, then this app will allow you cross check the car's registration number with records held by the UK government, thus you can check if the car has been cloned, which could indicate a stolen car.
It also provides you with an indicative value, so you know if you're paying a fair price for the car. Not only that, but you can also check the MOT history of a car, to check that there is no pattern of failed tests that could indicate a serious problem.
You can either type in the number plate, or you can just take a picture of it with your camera to save time.
*Update: Now supports Irish car registration lookups also

Re. Don't bother
I could not even rate this app as having one star why it's still here I don't know, tried loads of cars and van details and none come up with a result, I had an app that was excellent for what I needed it for and hoped this would be a worthy replacement, but how wrong was I hopefully some day my vrm app may work again until then I'll scap this one as its not even worth the space it takes up on my phone
Car Check doesn't work!
As soon as I click the check button at the bottom the screen asks you to type the registration but no space and no keyboard pops up to write with! The screen is then locked unless you close the app. Has the developer actually checked the app works? Fix this bug!
I'd like my money back please.
