From the man that brought you songs about peaches, kitties, and dune buggies, lead singer Chris Ballew from the rock band The Presidents of the United States is now crafting high quality, intelligent, simple acoustic music for kids and their parents to enjoy together. Caspar Babypants albums are a mix of fun upbeat original songs, re-imagined classics, and always a few for bed time.
Music Time is a fun interactive music app for kids that lets them explore their hidden musical talents while playing along with the songs from their Caspar Babypants music collection. This app features two smart instruments that change their notes along with the song being played, meaning your child will always be in key! There's also a percussion instrument included for when your child wants to sharpen their rhythm skills. Music Time is really a great way to help your children develop their ear and sense of rhythm as they tap and strum to any of the 193 tracks currently available from Caspar Babypants.
For kids (and parents!) that already play a real instrument, there's also a mode that teaches the chord changes of the songs so they can play along on their instrument of choice. For the trickier parts you can even slow the music down, plus the app also shows the lyrics so you can really learn the songs inside and out.
This app comes loaded with two songs from each available Caspar Babypants album for a total of twenty included songs. It's also expandable with the Caspar Babypants albums you already own, or you can purchase more on iTunes to increase the library of songs that Music Time can play.

Brilliant app and lifesaver:)
No matter how bad the screaming is, my flea has dogs brings my five month baby out of it straight away. He has Craniosynostosis and got to go to Great Ormond street hospital for a possible op and we are hoping Caspar babypants app will be a comfort to him and his nine year old autistic brother who loves the music as well. We watch his material constantly on nowtv, which led to us finding this app. This is a brilliant app. We love it. The only downside we can see is to get more tracks, you have to sign up to a subscription with iTunes which we can't afford to commit to every month. It's a shame you can't just buy tracks individually. I may be wrong. Hopefully they will put bug hotel and bird disguised as a aeroplane on there. ;) x
Great for developing music skills
If you are a musician / appreciate music and you have toddlers, this app kicks ar$e!! Great songs you can play along with on guitar, piano, etc; or your munchkin can just crack on by themselves.
Music is by the lead singer/songwriter from Presidents of USA who are a wonderful band. Graphics are lovely too.
I highly recommend this app.
Fantastic - we love it
My 11 month old has a little boogie to this app most days. It would've got 5 stars if I could figure out how to keep it from locking and consequently stopping the music without regular input. Babies sometimes just want to dance without playing instruments!
Overall it's fab though - songs for children that don't drive the parents mad :)
