Used the app to find a fast charger. It’s a shame hyundi can’t get a discount for its cars

I would like to see the app map to be shared. I would like to be able to share the app with a family member who uses the car and I’m happy to pay share my payment options.

A year after getting my first EV through Hyundai has been a mixed bag of good and bad. The Ioniq 5 is fantastic and I would not go back to an ICE.
The charging infrastructure in the UK is improving but held back due to the lack of grid network functionality to develop ultra rapid fast charge sites quickly enough.
There remains a continuing lack of common sense products by network providers to simplify their membership packages. Charge MyHyundai is one, if not the leader, in this field. I find it almost impossible to understand what packages they have for EV owners apart from Flex. They say they have a connexion with Ionity, but I cannot fathom how to change from Flex to Smart (I think thats it name). I have used Charge MyHyundai in the UK and abroad and foumd it more expensive simply using Apple Pay or contactless.
All in all a disappointing product. It might just be me but I prefer something that doesn’t require a Masters in quantum physics to understand.

I usually charge at home but on a short break I started the app and got a "can't log in, try again later" message. I guess this is a misleading error message as I could log in manually seconds later. Since then I've found out that I'm being logged out of the app if I don't use it for a few days, so I get that message every time I start the app and then have to log in again manually. No biometric password - face rec or fingerprint- so I need to get the password from my password manager app to paste it into Charge My Hyundai. Yes, only a minor irritation, but aggregate all the other minor irritations with the truly horrendously bad Bluelink app, and it leaves me feeling very let down by Hyundai
