All I would like to do is ask whether they will update the EV profiles. My car has been out a while but the model listed is 2020. This affects the app’s predictions. There is a bot to answer questions but no option for ‘other’ so no route there. Link for support on app download page gives a 404 so no route there. No other options but to pay to ask which is likely to be expensive. Come on, a simple option to allow a question is surely reasonable?

I haven’t even finished downloading this app and I know it’s going to be a load of rubbish. Typical, get to an Instavolt charger and oh, you need the ChargePoint app to operate it. Come on, it’s 2021, give us contactless payments from a standard bank card. Or even just let us scan our bank card online rather than an app. Faff, faff, faff.

Nobody wants to sit here waiting for an app to download which by the way seems like it’s about 5million Gigs worth. Lucky I have 1 bar of 4G and just about enough data left to download it.

Sorry chargepoint, I understand this is your business and you’re making a change etc, but you’re just a barrier to more people adopting this stuff, this is why youtubers and reviewers and newspapers say electric cars are a faff.

By this point in writing, the app has downloaded and I’m greeted by a well put together map, that loads quickly (credit where it’s due) but oh what’s this? I have to make an account, and if I don’t, I pay a transaction fee. Oh and by the way, please agree to this vast about of terms and conditions so if anything breaks it’s not our fault and you’re to blame for everything, including but not limited to: global warming and the Coronavirus.

Refusing multiple attempts to close account and refund money as I no longer need this app. Topping up balance automatically in advance when it drops below £10 without way of opting out within the app, hundreds of GBP straight to their bank account. you never know how much exactly. I was driving a lot and charging every day. Everything to make it more convenient… for them. Keeping people’s money so their balance sheet is always stays positive. To the developers: if you designed “delete account “ button make sure there is someone who’s actually taking action and reacts promptly. After all you have my money which you have no rights to keep longer than you “need” them.

Stations on the ChargePoint network are independently owned, and each station owner or roaming partner decides how much it costs to use their stations. ChargePoint processes the payment for paid charging sessions for the station owner or roaming partner. You can always check pricing in the app and filter for stations that are free to use.
