Finally, we’ve brought you the best of both worlds! chargEV now includes station data directly from charging point operators, plus the best community databases. The app picks out the best info from both worlds, summarizing locations and details in an ingeniously simple way.

Thanks to chargEV’s extensive filters, intuitive interface, and host of handy features you’ll find the perfect charging point within seconds. But will you be able to plug in when you get there? Thanks to the map pin colors, you can tell at a glance whether the charging points are available, in use, or unusable. You can see an even more granular breakdown by viewing the charging point’s details.

BEST OF THE BEST DATABASES
chargEV now has its own advanced backend that brings together and analyzes all the different data sources, enabling it to display the whole gamut of charging points:
Free-of-charge points in front of city halls or businesses come from community directories (GoingElectric and OpenChargeMap), regular AC and DC locations, plus those offered by the major HPC networks (IONITY, bp pulse, Fastned, etc.), are directly provided by the operators.

MATCHING
If chargEV has more than one source for a charging point, it selects the best info from all the sources and presents an insightful summary of it on the map and in the details view. Thanks to the app’s sophisticated algorithm, it can detect if there really are multiple chargers at one location or if it is the same charger listed with differing properties in the range of data sources. chargEV aggregates the best data from all sources into one map pin and its detail page.

LOCATION DETAILS
Grasp all the key info at a glance thanks to the new details view, which summarizes data from various sources in a clear, highly informative way. The operator, network, opening hours, and charge card compatibility info are summarized right at the top, saving you the hassle of swiping around the screen. Right below that, you’ll find the availability status (available/charging), detailed descriptions, and a whole bunch more.

FILTERS
Take the pain out of finding the perfect charging point with filters you can set in a flash. Choose from: plug type, provider, availability, charging rate, opening hours, or any combination of filters. It takes just seconds to customize the filters to suit your circumstances:
Charge while parked at your destination, use HPC locations on long-distance trips, only charge using specific providers, and lots more besides.

chargEV Plus
The fantastic new features in chargEV 3 are almost all based on contracts with operators and service providers, which is why we cannot offer them free of charge. Every subscription includes a long trial period during which you can use and test all the app’s features without any restrictions. If you feel the new features aren’t for you, you can cancel at any time before the subscription period ends.
Data from the community directories is always available.

Your selected subscription will be charged to your App Store Account once purchased and confirmed. Subscriptions run and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the current subscription period end. Cancellations can be made at any time in your App Store Account settings.
