Possible issue
I’m not sure if anyone else has reported this but if not it might be something to be aware of. I use Chat+ on an iPad. When typing I’ve noticed that it gets rather conflicted with the automatic text option, especially if you try and delete a word and retype it at which point it will put some of the letters from the first word I typed and make up a whole new word! Chat+ is the only app I use that does this. Weird.
Wow! The best WhatsApp app on iPad
The fact that there’s no official WhatsApp for iPad is a travesty; that all the unofficial clients are so terrible is even worse. But no longer. Chat+ supports basic features like Split Screen and even has some lovely refinements. Don’t hesitate to get this app and pay to banish the adds.
One thing I’d change is to remove the big “Chat+” bar at the top of the app interface. I’d much prefer just letting the WhatsApp display extend to the top.
And is there any hope of a Dark Mode?
Just what I was looking for
I wanted to be able to use WhatsApp on my iPad and this app fitted the bill.
It works very well. Easy to pair with your phone and keeps in sync. You can read and send messages as normal.
It’s slightly annoying that you have to log in every time you open the app and presumably because of this I don’t have any notifications of new messages prior to opening the app.
Overall pretty pleased with it.
