Checkers Sixty60 17+

Mostly really good and improving.
Niggles:
1. store I am linked to does not have accurate stock so in most orders at least 20 percent of products unavailable after shop. Can’t choose to link to (closer) other Checkers in area.
2. even if you click immediately on the out of stock notification you can’t do it fast enough to select an in stock alternative. The shoppet has already moved on.
3. linked to #1 you can’t choose a checkers in your area to be linked to. Frustrating as a much better checkers is actually closer to the one I’m linked to on the app

The App is fine. One of those apps that editorialise their content into annoying groupings like “fake aways” or “brunch”. And these get priority rather than organised sections.

It’s the service that is terrible. Today it took 4.5 hours for our delivery to arrive. And also Checkers produce is horrific and extremely poor quality. Rotten vegetables and other goods that are a day before their expiry. Not to mention this pre-authorisation of your card. Which means you are basically charged twice, until the initial authorised charge is reversed. I thought this practice of pre authorisation was less in use now because it is beyond annoying for customers. It’s like the old days of hotel bookings. Not acceptable.

This kind of service sounds great but it really isn’t worth it. Better to book a time slot with Woolworths where at least you can be assured of the quality

The app is good overall but I have issues with not being able to pay with an international card. It always says unable to process order. I also have an issue with the searching feature as it does not come up with accurate results. An example being that when I search out ‘soy sauce’, I get only one brand when there are multiple brands available.
