Description
The Chelmsford City Sports app gives you quick and easy access to all four of our leisure centres:
● Riverside Leisure Centre (RLC)
● Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre (CSAC)
● South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre (SWFLC)
● Dovedale Sports Centre (DSC)
What can you do through the app? You can make and manage bookings and view timetables for your favourite activities and get the latest information about the leisure centres.

Book swimming, gym, group exercise classes, sports hall activities and more!
Timetables
You can get real-time information for activities, including how many spaces are left in a class, locations and any cancellations.
Links
● You can get latest news and push notifications with great offers, tips and articles direct to your phone, ensuring that you’ll never miss a thing.
● Share what you’re up to through your social media accounts.
● Link to the mywellness app to get your training program on the go.
● Find out what times the gym is open to get your gym routine as part of your fitness fix.
● Find out about kids activities, delve into the website or contact us.

APPLE HEALTHKIT
We also use HealthKit to allow users to share their activity and workout data with the app. This data is used to incentivise users to stay active.

Hairdryers + showers
It’s a pity the use of hairdryers aren’t free & it would be lovely to have better facilities (speaking as a female) to get ready after a workout for a night out; otherwise best gym & pool in Chelmsford-puts the private ones to shame :)
Woeful design
Possibly one of the most ill thought out apps I’ve ever seen. For a start the physical membership card does not have your membership number detailed on it. The app doesn’t let you discover or confirm what your membership number is. So if you forget your membership id you essentially cannot use the app ever again unless you phone to find out what it is. It does however let you reset your password for the membership number you no longer know. The list of all swim sessions is incredibly basic and it crashes every time you try to book.
Happy at SWF Leisure Centre
I joined the SWF Leisure Centre about a month ago, April 2022 and absolutely love it. I wanted to shake up my own exercise routine a bit. Really enjoying the aqua aerobics and yoga classes. The teachers are very professional, and mindful of letting you go at your own pace. I attend 3 classes a week and I am already feeling fitter!
I can wholeheartedly recommend the Centre.
