Chess HD ‪∙‬ 4+

This APP is an online version of the very well-known, classic game of chess. You can play against the computer, or against a friend, and choose how hard it should be.
In the reviews I've read, some people have been complaining about the 'Whack a Grenade' advert that kept popping up. I, too, had this problem until I realised that, actually, you can get rid of it by tapping the cross in the bottom left corner.
So, overall, I find this APP enjoyable and fun, and I would highly recommend it.

I was just moving in for the kill and the computer’s pawn slid 6 squares diagonally across the board and took my white bishop!! What a cheat. Tried hitting ‘undo’ but I really wanted to make my vital move and each time I repeated it the computer did the illegal move. Nasty glitch. Apart from that I was having a good time playing it. 2 things I would like in addition: 1. The levels to have numbers rather than a vague sliding bar of difficulty 2. The pieces which have been taken to sit on the side of the board. Sometimes I have to do a quick stock check to see what I have left..can’t be doing with cheaters tho!!

I’m what you would call a casual player. A very casual player indeed. What i like about this app is i can change how difficult the computer makes it for me. I am getting quite good at it now and have won a lot of games. The good thing about chess is it completely takes your mind off anything you’ve been stressing about and totally relaxes your mind. I would recommend this every time.
