"Excellent...NONE BETTER - *****
I love this app! It's fast, beautiful, and comprehensive. Makes it very easy to practice and learn all the most common (and rare) openings. The author is active on improvements, and takes user recommendations to heart. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!" -- by ECHOOooo
"Great opening tool - *****
There are very few apps that I will take the time to review. However, this is one app that I use every day. It sharpens my opening knowledge Nd would be worth far more than the price at which I purchased it. Kudos."
"Awesome - *****

Fixed a crash in "Play against the Computer" quiz mode.

Brilliant Openings Navigator
As someone who *used* to be a strong club player 40 years ago, this is an ideal tool to re-familiarise yourself with opening theory you never really knew! I found out that you can search for openings e.g. Colle without them being mentioned in the index.
How would I improve the app? I would love to be able to add my own notes to particular positions that are likely to recur in actual play.
I am sure that I haven't managed to explore all the available functionality yet, but it is unclear if it is possible to purchase or load openings from sources other than the Store? For example, if I was interested in a less mainstream opening. I realise that I can load my own games manually, but that assumes a lot of manual effort.
Also, is it possible to delete individual openings that have been downloaded, or do you assume that the user will always clear everything and then re-load individual openings?
I look forward to future developments!
Easy to use, even for me.
Despite often lacking concentration, I found it simple to use. I need to understand openings better, and this is a great tool. If I had one suggestion, it would be this. Could we maybe have a gambit category for white and black please? I love the Danish for White but don't have gambit openings for black after e4 or d4 opening white move. Well done.
I use this all the time to learn opening variations. Highly recommended.
