- You can choose from three subscription options: weekly, monthly, and yearly. VIP membership subscription package starts with a free 3-day trial.
- Subscription payments will be charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase. Tactics even for beginners
I tried another one of these apps that as soon as you passed the very short training, it became crazy hard for a noobie. However, this one is building up nicely and I’m gaining in confidence.
I like that it shows me where the piece is allowed to move, as sometimes I can’t understand why the king can’t move left or something, so I’m forced to look more closely at the board and realise I was moving into check.
Building my understanding gradually and appealing to the puzzle loving side of my brain, without having to play a whole game.

Ads are TOO INTRUSIVE INTO THE GAME!
I agree with the other reviewer about the ads. It’s one thing to have a few ads that developers need for support in developing a game, but it’s quite another when the game offered to your prospective audience is riddled with ads every few seconds, to such an extent they interfere with the flow of the game and quite clearly is deliberate in order to push users into buying the ad free version! Completely destroys the user experience so it’s having the opposite effect of making me not want to use or buy the game! And remember, it’s the Users like us that you’re producing this for, to be used by us! If we can’t USE IT because Ads keep on obstructing the flow of play then it becomes unusable. Also I don’t see how a User can then rate it and have a good perspective on whether it’s worth buying the ad free version or not? Frankly, the added game content in the updates along with the unscrupulous amount of advertising are really not worth the end result- an unusable game. And for that reason I’m deleting this app and won’t be using again. Shame!
A little feedback
Love the app, however sometimes in tavern games I make a move that the computer registers at first, then I go to make a premove and then my previous move that had been accepted is retracted and replaces by the move I’d made after. Then it doesn’t recognise this new move it replaced my original move with and the timer keeps on going even though I cannot make another move.. I don’t really understand why this happens but it makes it impossible to play sometimes because even after I’ve made a move it keeps running out my time and I end up having to draw or resign... other than that the normal matches work really well this really only seems to be a problem I have on tavern...
