In app purchases are worth paying for
A lot of fun for adults let alone my kids! I bought all the games to encourage my eldest (mid secondary school age) to do something more useful on my iPad. My youngest has been trying his hand at the chicken coop painter game which seems to be best as an introduction to fractions but there are enough difficulty options in all the games to keep my eldest (let alone myself!) learning and enjoying the challenges. Well worth buying the games in the app if you are revising fractions for exams or if you have kids doing so.
There is no sound in the 'Painting' game that I've just paid for - can this be fixed??
I was looking for some educational games for my primary school aged children and downloaded this to my iPad mini. A brilliantly conceived app, it not only teaches how to use fractions in a very visual way, but also the concepts of estimating. My daughter has been struggling at school with what a fraction actually 'means' so this was a big help. On top of that, the fun characters and splatting eggs keep the kids attention for longer than usual too. Highly recommended!
