A Quick Fix

This is a great, free, little game. The controls are simple and responsive. The gameplay is to the point. Perfect for a quick 5 minute break when you’re bored.

Aggressive advertising..

So yeah.. the game itself might be ok but there are no instructions so it’s hard to tell what you are meant to be doing. Some trees you can hit and others you can’t but nothing tells you when you can or can’t hit certain trees. Every time you lose there’s a 30 second advert. So I hit 4 trees to start with then had to wait to try again. Thought I had the controls down and crashed into the side then had another ad.. seriously don’t play thing until there are less ads and there is more of a tutorial.

Avoid This Money-Grabbing Developer

I paid to remove ads from Chilly Snow, and I was very happy. I could slide down the mountain as long as I could concentrate, make a screw up and keep going. Then this update happened.

Now I can slide a short way down a mountain before “levelling up” which seems meaningless. If I do manage to screw up in the short space of time, now I have to sell my soul to an advertiser to pick up from where I left off. Soulless, shallow move by the developer to squeeze every penny from a pretty worthless app all-in-all.
