This game used to be fun. But now? It’s completely pay-to-win! Supercell are only really thinking about money, evolutions are only realistically obtainable if you’re willing to spend $12 every season on the diamond pass. Why are evolutions so broken? You release such expensive offers to obtain them, only to have them nerfed afterwards and then charge less than before. The evolution shards only appear in the season shop and for ridiculous prices. You can only get 2 per season and even then, one is a normal shard and the other is for a particular evolution that you might not want.The midladder experience is not good. You’re matched with opponents based off of trophies - 30 trophies higher or lower than you. They don’t take into account the levels of cards, which means that you’re often against players with cards around 2 levels high than you. This makes it bitterly unfair if you don’t spend money on the pass, which gives you a lot more than the free rewards. Level 15 is not good at all. You need 50,000 elite wild cards to get a single card from level 14 to 15. The conversion rates are bad for everything BUT specials and champions, the two rarities that AREN’T easy for F2P players to get. There’s 109 cards. That’s 5.45 million elite wild cards needed to max all cards, and that’s only if you were already maxed form before. The game needs a banger update to be revived.

By first starting out as a young prospect with not much talent at the game just placing hero’s onto the field of battle may seem like it is not pleasant , but once you really analyse what is gamers are playing it’s not just some random 2d game with some random cards . It’s a world beyond anything we as humanity could possibly fathom. This is what it is like to step on the field of battle and fight your opponent not just with power but with brain and heart. This game is utterly perfect. Whether you’re upgrading your troops to further prepare for war , or climbing up the ranks to open a new door . This game is beyond anything we can fathom. Whether it’s the game , the players and even the fandom. From giant to Valkyrie, spear goblins or the archer queen. This game delivers on a level soo deep and powerful it’s sends shivers down my spine just listening to the lobby music. Supercell supercell supercell , u have truly mixed brains and brute power, into an action PvP that not just entices you in but makes you want to keep fighting no matter what. This is not just a game. It’s a lesson that teachers us to keep placing down all the positive cards we have like kindness and happiness so we can destroy our negative feelings . In order to not just conquer our minds but to conquer our spirit. This game mixes neat colourful graphics and a loveable art style with a consistently enjoyable bug free experience to create a real game of quality. It has insanely tactical battles where a single wrong move is the difference between a win and a loss, at higher levels anyway. There is a difference between placing a card and getting maximum value out of said card. The skill cap is unbelievably high meaning you just can’t stop getting better at this game. And while a high levelled powerful card is good there is no substitute for quick thinking and game knowledge. One problem though, a huge problem, it is a supercell game. Meaning free to play, pay to win. To get every card to it’s max level and compete with the best players you must either play for thousands of hours, (an amount no one has yet achieved). Or pay about £5000. I have been playing for a very long time and I am level 10 out of 13, my cards are about tournament standard (level 9) and everyone I meet is level 12 with level 13 cards. They have a huge advantage as interactions which are meant to happen don’t. Zap is not meant to be able to kill minions however my opponents zap is such a high level it can kill my minions. This is done on purpose so the game is only fair if you pay enough money.It is extremely limiting to the cards I can use and the enjoyment I can have, however still a beautifully designed game I will not stop playing. All they have to do is make it slightly easier for free to play players (which is the majority of their player base).
