Description

Clean your desktop with one click or clean automatically every day.

Why you need Clean:

Take a look at your desktop right now and think -- how many of those files do you actually need?

You could probably remove most of them. But from time to time, there is some useful file on your desktop, which you want to keep.

Clean moves all your files to folder you specify and organizes them by month. So you get a clean desktop every day, but your files are never lost and you can get back to them anytime you want!

Features:

* Clean desktop manually
* Start agent and just enjoy nice, cleaned desktop
* Group files into folders by month, or by day
* Setup how often you want your desktop cleaned (every day or every week)

I would gladly pay to remove notifications and menu bar item

I've used Clean for years and always loved it, but it would be great to be able to disable the notifications and make the menu item optional (although Bartender helps with that). I'm getting close to removing it as the daily notifications are more annoying than the benefit of having an automatically cleaned desktop provides. 😶

5* when notification and menu icon become options

I value of the actions offered by the menu bar icon.

If I choose to collect several files/folders on my desktop during a 1 hour work period, I can immediately clean up whenever I want without loosing the files themselves. This renders certain other overly complex apps redundant (apparently, I can’t Drop you into the type of Zone I’m referring to with any precision without violating the Apple review rules).

I don’t need the notification function, but I can see that perhaps forgetful users using the weekly ‘Clean’ might want this to remind them where their desktop icons went!

5 starts if these two items are made options in ‘settings’.

Much prefer the previous version

The app is great; however, I much preferred the previous version. I don’t see the need to have the icon on the top bar of OSX, and I’d rather avoid the notifications. If it would have been possible to make them optional, it would have been a 5 stars!
