Issues with this app

This app has bugs that need fixing.
I changed my router which meant having to reconnect it to my phone on the new WiFi signal, but the app won’t allow to just reconnect, it keeps saying tub is offline and doesn’t allow you to go through the set up process again
So you have to delete the app and the download again and then re login and choose WiFi signal you want to use. If you move off the set up screen in the app, it defaults back and says tub offline, so again you have to delete and download again to try and start set up process. I have done this so many times I’ve lost count. You also have to go through this whole process again if it doesn’t make the connection to the tub. Really frustrating and needs fixing!

Cleverspa Maeva

Brought this hot tub to replace their Corona hot tub when the heating element stopped working - still waiting for that one to be collected(stopped working mid Nov 20).
Emails etc to Cleverspa have been polite & professional but they’re obviously working under social distancing rules etc now in their workshop.
We have been pleased with the Maeva so far - it’s much quieter than the Corona was.
But unfortunately can’t give a higher star rating as still can’t get the app link to work on this Maeva.
I did get the Corona app working when we first got it (June 20). But then it went offline when they seemed to change the app!!
But when it was working it was a great feature!
When these hot tubs are working well they are great fun & relaxing.
We have ours set up in a ‘Sun Bubble’ so can happily use it in all weathers.

Terrible experience

It advertises to use the app quite a few times within the documentation of our new hot tub. I don’t often use things like these so assumed it was important to the setup of the hot tub to ensure full functionality. We have ensured that the hot tub is within 2 metres of the router and still will not connect. I have tried more than 20 times to get it to connect, and failed every time. I have now deleted the app as it clearly isn’t working as expected. I think in the future I will use the controls on the hot tub itself and save all the drama of having it connected to my phone.

If you are thinking of downloading this app, I would worry about using it and put your phone away and just relax in your hot tub instead.
