Hmmm, not sure...
Two things about the app that I’m not convinced by. Firstly, day tickets on Bluestar cost a pound more if I were to buy through the app than if I paid cash on the bus. And secondly, I seem to be unable to do what I got the app for. The write up clearly states that it’s great for parents to help out by being able to buy tickets to gift to their children. I can see nowhere in the app that allows me to do this, or explains how I would go about it.

Hi Fourq2. Thank you for your rating. The app is the same price as the paper day tickets - there should be no difference here. To gift a ticket, simply purchase the ticket, find the ticket in your wallet, then go to the ticket details. From there, you can choose to transfer the ticket to another account. Incredibly convenient being able to have my ticket on my phone instead of another card taking up a place in my wallet. But, I changed phones yesterday and downloaded the app onto my new phone, logged into my account and my ticket was not in the app. It said I had no active tickets and there was nothing in the wallet section. This is very annoying as I have to use this ticket 4-5 days a week and I don’t want to have to go and spend another £215 to get a new ticket seeing as I only bought the ticket last week! Please can I get this sorted ASAP! Would probably 5 stars if it wasn’t for this hiccup.

Hi Alfelion32. I'm sorry to hear that! This feature is intentional as it prevents fraud. You don't have to pay for another ticket, just simply give us a call on 01202 678100 and we'll get the ticket transferred to your new phone for you. Best wishes, Joe
Every time you click on buy a ticket it adds it to your basket, without realising you must remove each and every one of them - but it almost seems impossible! I ended up paying 3 times as you don’t see a payment preview (or I certainly didn’t!), after calling their Customer Service I was initially told to try and prove it - this to me indicates that they already know it’s rubbish and that’s how they are making money but eventually a manager issued a full refund when threatened with a charge-back so don’t take no for an answer and certainly don’t pay their £10 “admin fee”!!!

I am sorry to hear that you find the ticket basket confusing, there is a clear basket button at the bottom of the screen, with an option to remove or change the quantity of tickets on each row, and every ticket you are about to buy is listed on the screen. I am sorry to hear that you did not easily find this, we will look into seeing if we can make this clearer. Our terms and conditions do state that we have a refund policy in place and all refunds are subject to a £10 admin charge, especially day riders, which we waived on this occasion.
