Clockology has support for the following layer types:
- Video: Plays high speed video and has different ways of triggering the playback
- Sound: Plays different sounds with a few ways of triggering the sounds playback like on the hour or when you tap on the device
- Date and Time: Used for displaying things like current hour, minute, or seconds with a wide variety of fonts and effects
- Weather: Using your current location, will show the current weather as icon, temperature, or words
- Device: Battery level and other device specific information

Booya. A game changer !!!
This app just gets better and better. The dev team are on steroids when it comes to new feature's. Widgets for my Mac 🖥️ to faces with graphs, this is way beyond any other app for faces out there. Design your own with ease. It takes about 30 mins to understand the capabilities and how too’s. I wish I could figure out how they turned off the generic stock time off. I can’t find a way. Give me a shout on how you figured it out 😏
Awesome App! It really allows full customisation
Having purchased an watch ultra I was looking for ways to customise my own watch faces. I stupidly spent £10 on another App that had a limited choice of watch faces and so when I discovered Clockology it really opened up what was possible. Obviously it has its own range of watch faces which are great but when it comes to customisation Clockology is by far the best! I’m now able to upload videos, GIFS and any images I want onto any watch face I customise be it from a blank screen or from many of the templates they offer. So far so good. It’s free too up to a limit. No adds either. I gave Clockology 4 out of 5 stars due to it not being completely free but it’s the best App for customising your own watch faces by far. I hope this helps any decision you will make.
Good app, too expensive for iAP
Used this app for exactly 13 month (paid for 1 month and a whole year for the iAP) but once it ran out I missed the features it brought but couldn’t bring myself to pay the almost double iAP now. Stopped using it and if I want to use my Apple Watch like this I have Widgy’s Watchy.

After a few failed attempts to get this app to work I’m glad I stuck with it. I now spend hours a day downloading watchface from the Facebook group (Clockology Fans BTW) and learning how they work. The designers are amazing and you forget this is an Apple Watch app. Must install and I've paid the subscription I love it so much.
