I’ve been using this app for a while now and it’s been really useful, that is until the latest iOS 15 update. I’m finding that the widget cannot keep up with the app itself, and is constantly not updating the battery levels for different devices. Normally when this has happened before, then simply opening the app would sync it up, but this doesn’t work any more. I’ve tried closing the app and reopening it and still no go. The affected widget icons are showing the ‘hourglass’ symbol as if they’re waiting for an update, which eventually will sync, but it’s taking far longer than it used to. UPDATE1. The app now steadfastly refuses to update my Apple Watch battery state. UPDATE2. Unfortunately the situation with this app is getting worse, to the point that I can’t trust ANY of the readings it’s presenting, and I’ve taken the decision to stop using it until the developers take heed of the comments and improve it!UPDATE3. Version 4 has just been releases with supposed ‘updates and bug fixes’. Not sure what these are as the situation in my previous updates hasn’t changed at all!
At last an app that is actually brilliant in design and functionality, the developer I gather from other responses is new and should be very proud, I am sure apple could have produced a better stock app but it’s clear now having this why it’s open to developers.I initially could not get the Mac version to work until I realised my mistake, the app launches initially then you need to click into the additional battery icon (assuming you have the stock one activated) and it allows you to add the Mac! Love how it picks up even my AirPods and adding the pencil later.I purchased the premium and changed the tile colour on the widget and put rings, fits nicely along side my exercise rings! Brilliant job well done, not sure where you take it from here though!
Although the iPhone has a battery widget it cannot monitor the battery of a macOS device and you certainly cannot monitor the Watch and iPhone battery from macOS natively. This enables all those features. Only complaint is that you cannot switch off the icon on macOS so you either have to have two battery icons (native one as well) or turn off the native icon and use this one. Should be able to turn it off because it works well as a widget in control Center in macOS so you don’t need to monitor from system tray as well. Small issue but it is there.
I like this app if you are like me and have your devices on most of the time it might be a pain to check each devices battery level. This app makes it simple to check and know when to charge. The only thing I’d like is a way to set it to automatically update the battery level of each device rather than you having to do it but other than that I can’t recommend enough, it has a lot of customisation features to help you find your perfect lay out.
I can see my iPhone, MacBook, Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad and Apple Watch battery levels all in one place on every device. Setup was slightly counter-intuitive in that you set up a device on that device. Also remember that you need to install the Mac app to add a Macs and its devices (keyboard etc). But there’s lots of help if you get stuck. Once set up it works like a dream. Highly recommended!
This is the perfect app to see all your device's current battery. Apple has a similar feature already but it is very limited. Cloud battery adds everything I wish apple's battery widget did. Also it is cloud based so it doesn't matter where you are, you will see your battery life on all your devices. Amazing app!!! So smart too!
