Coffee Inc: Business Tycoon 4+

This game is so good because it feels like you are running your own business. It gives you an insight on profit/loss and how to get around it. It is a fun game and very addictive but needs more features.

- I think you should be able to control employees pay for all shops on the hr section of the menu.
- be able to make your own coffee blend and not just have other ones (have your own farming business - once you get further in the game)
- partner up with other coffee companies to bring out a new drink or food item
- make your own limited edition drinks and put them on the menu, if they last then you can keep them but if they don’t sell then take them off
- have more towns! Maybe have 10 in total? And 3 that you have to pay 99p for
- be able to hire a store manager, supervisor, etc for each of your stores

Very good game, can’t fault the gameplay so far, very good to keep your mind ticking over while working from home.

Fully worth the £1.99 I paid. However there are some cities you have to buy, for 99p each. I would prefer this to be in a bundle as if you buy the 3 cities it costs more than the game. And they don’t offer much else in terms of gameplay. In my opinion 99p for these cities is a bit expensive.

There are only 4 main businesses to invest in: sports teams, electric car companies, pharmaceutical, and space exploration. While these are good, it would be nice to see a wider variety of business types to invest in. Also potentially if you are a substantial shareholder you could influence key business decisions which affect the stock price.

Obviously the coffee business is the starting point, but it would be nice to see diversification options, such as maybe fast food, barber shops, and other small businesses that you could dabble with. I would be willing to pay extra for things like “Business licenses” for the right to start up these new businesses. However it needs to be better value than the extra cities add ons, as I feel they should be part of the £1.99 you pay.

Overall I would rate this 4.7/5 as it is a great game, but improvements and additions are necessary in order to get the full 5.

I recommend this game, and am looking forward to seeing where it goes.

First ever review of a game! I’ve been playing tycoon games for years and I can honestly say this is up there with the best of them. If your looking for a coffee based management game then this isn’t for you BUT if you are looking for a business tycoon game where you build a large company along side investing in other businesses, and playing the stock market then this is perfect. I didn’t expect much when I started but I have played for hours on end now.

For longevity I would like more depth to the other business ie - the sports franchises, you could build a new stadium or training facility to increase profit, something along the lines of interaction with the cities and the stocks to give a visual and a realism to the numbers.
