Coinverter 4+

Installed this for the widget, but OS 11 widget is not working at all. Won't even display currency values.

Edit: for two weeks the only editing the widget would allow was to change the order of the chosen currencies. Now it seems to have finally connected to the database and I can change currencies and amounts. So have raised from one to 3 stars. Still not as good as the OS 10 currency widget.

Nice simple conversion app that is handy for referencing multiple currencies against each other in one window. I'd give it 5 stars if they had a menu bar drop down and dark mode!

This is a very nice app for personal or work uses. I use it in both situations regularly, and it allows me to do the conversions without fuss! That to me is the big selling point, as of a lot of these conversion apps are poorly designed and attempt to do too much.

Coinverter is clean to look at and requires no learning curve - you just type amount into any of the currency boxes, and the other boxes are then automatically updated. You can add or remove as many different currencies as you like, and the amounts are easily copied with the Cmd+C shortcut.

For £2.99 at the time of writing, the app is a real bargain. It saves having to open up a webpage for conversions, and the U.I is the best I’ve used for such a tool. There is also an iOS version of this app available, and at 79p is equally great value for money
