Damp & mould risk assessment

Damp & mould risk assessment

The Colemanator APP is intended to be used by building surveyors, home inspectors, drying specialists, landlords and even homeowners to determine air quality in circumstances where damp, mould and condensation are considered a problem.

Using just a few user supplied details the APP calculates the psychrometric properties of the air and evaluates the air quality using parameters provided in an ‘Indoor Air Quality Matrix’ (IAQM)

The Matrix provides smart data driven analysis which will assist the user in determining whether the air quality is good or bad and provide an aid to the diagnosis of condensation and mould.

Mr Perfect Preservation ,

The Colemanator

I have been surveying properties throughout the north west of England for over 20 years, mainly domestic properties, over that period of time with the popularity of Upvc windows and doors as well as the use of central heating the internal environment has become excessively humid without mechanical ventilation, as a company we have had to use some complex equipment to get an understanding to what is happening until recently when I was recommended to give this App a trial, for £9.99 it was a no brainer (as they say). Well I didn’t need any coaching to see how to use as a child could use it , it’s that easy, I entered the figures as prompted and bang there was a clear result, straight away I could show the client clear and consider results, simple but effective with a “traffic light” chart Showing good to bad. I look forward to see how this App develops in the near future with regards to bolt on features. Well done to the team that will make most property Surveyors life a little easier. ✊✊✊

A Must Have Pocket Tool!

This app is a great little tool to have at your fingertips. It’s quick and easy to use and gives simple, easy to read results. For anyone who works in a role that encounters damp and mould, this app will help you collate the data you need to back up your findings when coupled with simple observations. The app can then be used to monitor improvements.

Clever piece of kit

As a RICS Building Surveyor with 7 years experience, I had only ever used a damp meter. Limiting the advice I could give my clients re condensation and dampness.

I now own the required hygrometer and surface temperature measurement device, and have very quickly learned how to put these into practice.

Air quality, and therefore condensation control, is becoming increasingly more important. Meaning this app has come at the perfect time.

I’d urge any practicing surveyor to download this app and purchase the required kit (which is inexpensive). And begin using accordingly. It has great value to add to our clients and the services we offer.
